THE RULES:
1. Be an active raider (Vindicator) in good standing with the guild. If you are,
2. Requests will be handled via in-game mail to Shaala. This list will be updated as requests are received.
3. The orbs will not be given out until the person has all the materials to craft the item and has located a crafter.
HOW IT WORKS:
Send Shaala an in-game mail with the item you want to craft, and the amount of Orbs you request. The guild will provide up to a maximum of HALF the Orbs required to craft the item. A chestpiece, for instance, requires 8 Orbs; the guild bank will provide four.
If the bank has the amount of Orbs you need immediately, you will be asked to place the mats for the item in a Trade window before the Orbs are given out, including the other half of the Orbs required. This may seem paranoid, but we've had one too many people who try to "cheat the system" by abusing our bank rules.
If all is in order, and you have identified a crafter, the orbs will be given to you to get the piece crafted immediately. You will be expected to be wearing the crafted item in the next raid.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ):
Q: Can I request Orbs for alts?
A: If the alt is used to help with guild runs, an alt may be added to the queue. However, mains > alts.
Q: Can I request Orbs for off-spec?
A: If the off-spec is used to help with guild runs, yes. On the same priority as alts (see above).
Q: Is there a GP cost to withdrawing Crusader Orbs from the bank?
A: Not at the moment. If demand for Orbs becomes much higher than supply (at the start of a new tier), a cost might be added to make the GP cost of a crafted item roughly half the GP value of a raid drop of the same item level for that slot. This is to ensure loot parity, and to help people get crafted items early without seeing it as a "loophole."
Q: I was ahead of X on the list, but he got his Orbs first! WTF?!
A: In times of high Orb demand, like at the start of a new tier of content, certain classes (especially tanks, and maybe healers) might be given priority for Orb withdrawals from the guild bank. This exception should not happen often, however, and would likely be eliminated altogether once we're reasonably farming Icecrown Citadel.
